Genie telescopic S-booms have a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Compared with various other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a a range of horizontal reach that is much greater. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access confined places during construction and industrial jobs. They are also known for their ability to rapidly maneuver through a job site with great drive speed and traction. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools. 360° continuous rotating turntables offer operators quick, easy positioning.
The Z-135/70 model comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This particular model can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs that were previously unreachable by typical jibs. The Z-80/60 model's secondary reverse-articulating boom gives the user 8.83 meters of over and up reach. This feature allows up and over reaching tasks to be completed with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System built by Genie allows for time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms platform needs to either be lifted or lowered without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system allows both booms to be elevated fully simultaneously. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features lessens the time needed for users to ascend and descend, increasing effectiveness and production.
