Used Carelift Zoom Boom Rialto

Rough terrain forklifts have been manufactured by CareLift Equipment, since the year 1962. Every day the company strives to deliver value and help their consumers reach their goals because they know the bottom line is performance and dependability.

Boom lifts come in 2 general kinds, the straight boom lift and articulated boom lift. Both these units are normally powered hydraulically. Most often straight booms are the ideal alternative for jobs which need a high reach with no obstructions. The turntable on the machine can rotate 360 degrees with an extendable boom. This extendable boom can be raised vertically to below horizontal. Since the operator is able to maneuver and steer the vehicle while the boom is fully extended, it is a versatile equipment. These units come in propane, gas or diesel configurations as well as 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive.

Articulated boom lifts are utilized for lifting loads up and over obstacles and gain access to areas which were otherwise not accessible. These lift models carry out tasks which straight telescopic booms cannot do. These lifts are almost like the straight boom lift in most aspects except in the boom's ability to articulate. There are various articulation points on the boom in order to allow it to bend in a range of different directions allowing it to move around any objects easily in the work environment.

To be able to maintain stability while the boom lift is completely extended, some heavy-duty boom lifts come equipped with outriggers. The outriggers provide the operator with some extra confidence and safety. Proper training is required before using boom lifts so as to ensure the operator, the jobsite and everyone working in the vicinity stays safe.

Boom lifts enable jobs which used to require a lot more man hours to be completed in a much shorter time period. These machines have greatly increased productivity and have revolutionized the material handling industry.
