End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling business for their extreme flexibility. These machinery have superior performance characteristics that are quite like sit-down electric lift truck models.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suitable for warehousing operation settings that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are usually less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machinery are an excellent choice for applications that need regular on and off access, since their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading machine used by various companies who maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and materials which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent alternative for individuals who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
All standard reach truck models will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the equipment. Telescoping blades are mounted to the out-rigging and could move up and down. The tines also have a hydraulic setup that allows the driver to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not only provides more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide without any problem, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
