Powertrain
Lift trucks must be tough enough to last for hours of use in numerous extreme environments. While being ergonomic for operators, these machines have to be able to move loads fast or efficiently. The rugged, reliable Yale powertrain provides excellent durability through its extremely strong gears and shafts, state of the art clutch pack and computer managed transmission and engine. The engine, transmission, steer axle, and drive axle are all isolated so as to lessen vibration and noise inside the operator's compartment.
Electrical
The lift truck's electrical system is responsible for connecting the truck's major nerve centers together. Therefore, the electrical system within the lift truck needs to be reliable and durable for the most demanding cold/hot and dry/wet operations. There is much sophistication required to be able to control truck functionality.
Delivering reliable electronics are a well-known hallmark of all Yale trucks. The Yale CANbus electrical system utilizes digital technology and reduces electrical connections and reduces wiring too. This results in remarkable serviceability and improved reliability.
Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the "muscles" of the forklift. They give the necessary force required to raise heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic components. Some of these components include: leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, heavy-duty hydraulic valves, fine micron filters and long lasting tilt and hoist cylinders. The control valve has been strategically placed in order to prolong component life by lessening exposure to heat sources.
Yale's diesel forklifts offer extreme reliability and are known for withstanding harsh working situations and coming out on top. These machines have been constructed in such a precise manner that attention to detail has been taken into account to be able to keep the operator as comfortable as they can be.
